If you are looking to expand your horizons and move on to various other types of flutes, below is a link to an old friend who makes very good flutes. He also has an extensive collection of videos on how to play. His name is Erik the Flutemaker and I first met him when he was selling flutes at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in the booth next to mine. I was fascinated and purchased many of his flutes. I went on to work at The Bards Music Shop, also fine flutes (link Below), where I learned how to make flutes. Both of the makers below are many decades beyond me in their abilities and I highly recommend you check them out for high-quality natural flutes made in the U.S.A.
